As a Paid Advertising Specialist, you'll have exclusive access to the continent's largest retail customer base, rich shopper data, and advanced analytics to create cutting-edge digital paid media campaigns.
Role Purpose
The role purpose of a Paid Advertising Specialist is to drive business growth through the effective use of paid digital advertising channels. They are responsible for creating, managing, and optimising paid advertising campaigns across various platforms, such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, DV360, TikTok, and more.
Role Responsibilities
- Maximize ad delivery efficiency and effectiveness through successful digital campaign execution.
- Ensure data, technology, and strategy work together to optimize ad delivery.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and technology teams to implement integrated ad campaigns.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver digital campaign plans.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness, provide recommendations, and optimise performance.
- Provide analysis and insights for reporting, including post-campaign reporting.
- Ensure accurate invoicing and budget execution.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and advise on new channels and approaches.
- Monitor digital media properties to adhere to best practices and provide technical assistance.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Media, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in paid media advertising or digital campaign management (essential)
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital campaigns across multiple touchpoints and channels (essential)
- Proficiency in paid advertising tools (AdWords, Google Ads, DV360, Meta, TikTok, tracking, and verification tools) (essential)
- Broad knowledge of the media and marketing ecosystem (essential)
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of marketing principles and practices (essential)
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the retail industry (essential)
- Proficiency in MS Office (essential)
- Experience using marketing automation tools (advantageous)
